A Decade of Experience

How It All Began

FIELDSCAPE was founded by Ryan Field in the summer of 2018. He first got his start in landscaping and earthworks at Kawartha Golf and Country Club in 2012. He worked on the maintenance crew servicing the course and gaining an appreciation for landscaping. Eager to learn more about landscaping, golf course management, and landscape design, Ryan attended the University of Guelph for Turfgrass Management while continuing to work at the course. He worked his way up to the role of assistant superintendent.

Looking to dive more into the excavation side of things, he joined a golf course construction and commercial landscaping company after graduating in 2016. With a couple more years of experience under his belt in 2018, he decided to launch FIELDSCAPE. This is the amalgamation of over a decade of experience in the industry and that reflects in the work we do everyday.
